Stepping Stones

These rare exceptions

struck by sunlight gleam in kind

visual music

Yesterday I spent the afternoon and evening shepherding, photographing and singing with 700 jr. high and high school students in a festival sponsored by my choir.

Cool.

Sounds like an inspiring way to spend a day. Hope to hear more about it.

I took lots of pictures. Some video, too, but I’m not sure whether it’s worth posting; the image quality is crap even without the added crappiness that occurs when you save video for web. The sound (which is kind of the point) is fairly fuzzy, although it does give some idea what 700 kids singing at once sounds like. Maybe I’ll post it tomorrow, if anyone’s interested.

700 kids singin’ at once? Wow! That must’ve been fun!
