Hard to watch Hummers in action without saying, “That’s talent!”
I’m surprised they don’t drill a little hole in that plump orange – yum.
I may have to put out feeders this year. They’re always around here because we have lots of large-bloom flowers like roses and rose-of-sharon. The little guys are impressive.
If you, do get a feeder, Mushroom, go for something cheap. As I learned the hard way, hummingbirds don’t care for pretty, they like plastic and red.
I think I need to get a feeder for our tree as well. I did wonder, but not aloud, why the birds didn’t go for the juicy-looking oranges on your tree.
