wound up in the desert is

I turned away briefly while the picture loaded and my first impression when I looked was that it was a photo of Michael Jackson! But then I realized it isn’t.

    It isn’t, right?

    Freddy’s dead?

I used to work with a guy who was a bowhunter and he had a picture of the great Fred Bear kind of in silhouette as his background. As you probably know, Mr. Bear wore a fedora.

As I was passing by one day, the bowhunter points to the screen and asks if I know who it is. I replied, “Fred.”

    “Fred Who?”

    “Fred Bear, of course.”

He explained that someone else had seen it and thought it was Freddie Kruger.

I didn’t know, but I do now. Good timing, by the way – I was in the middle of leaving a comment at your place when yours popped up here 😀
