I always wanted one of those.

I used to work with a guy who was a captain in the Reserves, in artillery. He had a subordinate who was always talking about how bad friendly fire was, and how they had to be careful. His catchphrase was, “That’s how they died in ‘Nam.”

So one day the subordinate is plotting for the artillery range at Fort Leonard Wood. The captain checks it and finds that the guy has a shell landing directly on the tiny nearby town of Buckhorn. He hands the plot back to his man with the words, “That’s how they died in Buckhorn.”
