I’m not a poet, but I love haiku.
Here’s a good one by Togyu:
When autumn winds blow
not one leaf
remains the way it was.
Thank you, Hermit – that is beautiful! I really need to read more real Japanese haiku. I know that mine is generally mere doggerel by comparison, but the discipline of the form is a great mental exercise. Which is why I shamelessly stole it from Robin Starfish.
