Fourth trimester sleep
safe in the father’s embrace
there’s no place like home
Beautiful. A big virtual hug!
Awwwww. No waaaaa. 😉
Fresh out of the light, and still glowing.
That kid’s got great hair!
He really is adorable!
A complete complement to the contented casa.
Awwww. Slumbering Junebug is adorable.
Beautiful boy, beautiful photo. I like to imagine you just watching and admiring him as he sleeps.
What an excellent pic. He’s beautiful.
I love the way he already likes to fold his arms over his chest. He is perfection personified.
Isn’t he sweet? I know all you do is sit around and stare at him. That’s what I would be doing. 🙂
They do almost seem to glow, don’t they?
Thanks everyone! And Helene, thanks especially for the swaddling blankets. They are already making our nights more peaceful!
Susannah, yes, they do! I love the expressions that flit across his face, too. Mostly they’re funny, but every once in a while we see a precursor of what his smile will be. It’s dimpled and completely irresistible.
The container-content works both ways: your little guru is teaching you well!
BTW, vis-a-vis today’s post, if that’s not sacred, nothing is.
(mis-posted in previous thread, but it still applies)
Indeed, and indeed. The real miracle of birth is that there isn’t only one person born, there are three.
Sacred indeed! Takes my breath away!
He’s exquisite, Julie.

A finer Truth was never spoken. Blessings on your house.
Congratulations, Julie! He’s so precious, I want to reach into the photo and hold him. Though I’m sure he’s already much more grown up since that time! 🙂
How neat that there is a new one at OC!
Hi, Anna! It’s been awhile – how are you doing?
Re. the baby, he just had his one month checkup today, and already looks much different. He’s getting all roly poly 🙂
