Friday Portrait, November 19

The last few Fridays have been busy with a combination of visitors and events, so it’s been a while. Not for lack of interest, but what can you do? It may be a couple more weeks before I can go back, as well. C’est la vie

Today’s sitter was Irene, a dear lady who usually draws with us in the winter months. She’s originally from Germany, and spends her summers in Canada. Her children live nearby, and have sat for us in the past. She hasn’t seen me since May or so, before L was born, so when I finally wandered in with the stroller she hopped down from the stand to see the baby, starting breaktime early. Fortunately, everyone else wanted to see the baby, too 🙂

Either of my kids would’ve kicked it clear across the room before I could take the picture. LOL. Very cute!
